Snow Much Fun with Comparatives
Class 2b made the most of one of this winter’s rare snowy days by taking their learning outdoors. Wrapped up warmly, the children worked in teams to roll, stack, and decorate their own snowmen. Soon, the school grounds were filled with tall, small, funny, and wonderfully creative characters made of snow.
Back in the classroom, their snowmen became part of the English lesson. The children practised comparatives by describing their creations: “Our snowman is taller than yours,” and “This one is bigger but that one is funnier.” It was a joyful, hands-on way to learn - and a day to remember!
