Life with the host family

  • P3147965
Our host family was really sweet and we enjoyed our stay.

Mrs. Wright is an elderly woman, who lives in a cute, little house with her husband John, who loves watching soccer. Usually when we came home, both of them were sitting in front of the television. They proudly showed us the pictures of their 14 grandchildren and great grandchildren. The food was delicious and the portions were huge.

Above all, it was great fun to get to know the British lifestyle and an awesome experience to stay at a host family.

Excursions to London

Our class spent two days in London and it was really impressive. We visited most of the famous places with all their sights, for instance Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and London Dungeon.  On the first day, our guide Kirsty showed us around and told us some interesting stories about the history of the city.  On the second day, the highlight was the ride on the London Eye, where we enjoyed a fabulous view over London. In the late afternoon we went to Oxford Street, where we could also admire the well-known department store “Liberty”. We ended our trip to London with a shopping tour on Oxford Street. It was very nice to see the capital of the United Kingdom.
